Description

Savor the delightful layers of seasoned ground beef, creamy ricotta, and melty mozzarella in this easy-to-make sheet pan lasagna, perfect for family gatherings or busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 15 oz whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well blended.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the sheet pan. Layer with 3 lasagna noodles followed by half of the cheese mixture and then half of the remaining marinara sauce.
  5. Add another layer of noodles, then repeat with remaining cheese mixture and marinara sauce. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  6. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for about 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it cool slightly before slicing. Drizzle with extra marinara sauce if desired and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
