  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin pan or line it with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in milk and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just mixed.
  6. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown; a toothpick inserted should come out clean.
  8. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
  9. In a bowl, beat room temperature butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix well.
  10. Add almond extract and milk; beat until fluffy.
