Description

Indulge in a rich, creamy Gluten-Free Vegan Chocolate Orange Tart that beautifully blends chocolate and citrus flavors for a guilt-free dessert perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups gluten-free flour blend
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder
  • ½ cup refined coconut oil (melted)
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 block (12 oz) silken tofu
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder
  • ½ cup fresh orange juice
  • Zest of 2 fresh oranges
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour blend, cacao powder, and melted coconut oil. Add maple syrup and mix until crumbly yet cohesive.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Poke some holes with a fork to prevent puffing during baking.
  4. Bake for about 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Allow it to cool while you prepare the filling.
  5. In a blender or food processor, add silken tofu, cacao powder, fresh orange juice, zest, and maple syrup.
  6. Blend until completely smooth and creamy—about one minute.
  7. Pour the chocolate-orange filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly with a spatula.
  8. Refrigerate for at least two hours (or overnight) before serving.
