Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the apple wedges with lemon juice in a bowl to prevent browning.
- In a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add granulated sugar and stir until it bubbles into a golden caramel.
- Arrange the apple wedges upright in concentric circles over the caramel. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top.
- Roll out the puff pastry and gently lay it over the apples, tucking in the edges around the fruit.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
