- 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (16 oz each)
- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or substitute with veggies)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Open the refrigerated biscuits and cut each one into quarters.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the pizza sauce and Italian seasoning into the meat mixture, letting it simmer for about five minutes.
- Layer half of the biscuit pieces at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Top with half of the meat mixture, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the pepperoni slices. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used up.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before placing it in the preheated oven.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
