  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuits (16 oz each)
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or substitute with veggies)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Open the refrigerated biscuits and cut each one into quarters.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the pizza sauce and Italian seasoning into the meat mixture, letting it simmer for about five minutes.
  5. Layer half of the biscuit pieces at the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  6. Top with half of the meat mixture, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the pepperoni slices. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used up.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before placing it in the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
