Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese (whole milk)
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- If using regular lasagna noodles, cook them al dente according to package instructions. If using no-boil noodles, ensure your marinara sauce is sufficiently saucy.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of your sheet pan.
- Layer with lasagna noodles followed by half of the ricotta mixture (seasoned with salt and pepper), half of the cooked beef, a layer of mozzarella cheese, and more marinara sauce. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake covered for about 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
