  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook frozen ravioli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce, followed by half of the cheese mixture.
  6. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used.
  7. Pour any remaining marinara sauce over the top layer and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Add fresh basil leaves for added flavor.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
