- 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook frozen ravioli according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Layer half of the cooked ravioli over the sauce, followed by half of the cheese mixture.
- Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used.
- Pour any remaining marinara sauce over the top layer and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Add fresh basil leaves for added flavor.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
