Description

Indulge in the cozy flavors of Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Rolls, soft and fluffy with a delightful pumpkin and cinnamon filling—perfect for breakfast or dessert on chilly days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let sit for five minutes until frothy.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, brown sugar, softened butter, eggs, and cinnamon to the yeast mixture. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour one cup at a time until the dough pulls away from the bowl. Knead on a floured surface for eight minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm area for about one hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Once risen, punch down the dough gently and roll it out into a rectangle about half an inch thick.
  6. Spread softened butter over the surface of the dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  7. Roll up tightly along one edge; slice into equal pieces.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise again while preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
