A quick, flavorful meal featuring tender chicken and vibrant broccoli roasted in a rich garlic butter sauce that will delight your taste buds.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 4 cups Fresh Broccoli Florets
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the boneless chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Place them on a large sheet pan. Season generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Cut the fresh broccoli into florets if not pre-cut. Add them to the sheet pan with the chicken. Drizzle olive oil over both and toss until well coated.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt unsalted butter until bubbly. Add minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant; then stir in lemon juice before removing from heat.
- Pour the garlic butter sauce over the chicken and broccoli on the sheet pan, ensuring everything is well-coated. Roast for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Transfer portions onto plates or serve directly from the pan, drizzling any leftover garlic butter sauce over everything.

Keywords: Substitute broccoli with other vegetables such as asparagus or bell peppers. For added spice, consider sprinkling red pepper flakes before roasting. Letting the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking helps retain its juiciness.
