Instructions
- Wash the green beans under cold water and trim both ends.
- In a pan over medium heat, add olive oil. Add sliced shallots and a pinch of salt. Stir occasionally for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the trimmed green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green but still crisp. Drain and plunge into ice water to stop cooking.
