Instructions

- On a floured surface, roll out your pie crust until it's about an eighth of an inch thick.
- Cut out circles or spooky shapes from the dough using cookie cutters or a knife.
- Place about a tablespoon of filling in the center of each dough circle.
- Fold over one side to create a half-moon shape and crimp edges with a fork to seal tightly.
- Brush each hand pie with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Place hand pies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
